In the third quarter of 2024, the air travel app market in Qatar on the Android platform showcased varied performance trends. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the top five air travel apps: Qatar Airways, Flightradar24 Flight Tracker, flydubai, Jazeera Airways, and Etihad Airways.

Qatar Airways experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads throughout the quarter, starting from around 3.2K in early July and dropping to approximately 1.1K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from about 6.1K to 3.9K.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, with numbers peaking at 1K in mid-July and then stabilizing around 650 by the end of September. The app's revenue showed a slight upward trend, reaching a high of $251 in late September. Weekly active users varied, peaking at 1.6K in mid-July and closing the quarter at approximately 1.3K.

flydubai had a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 304 and ending at 517. Active users also showed a positive trend, beginning at 616 and reaching 746 by the end of the quarter.

Jazeera Airways displayed a fluctuating download pattern, with a notable peak of 548 in early July. Weekly active users demonstrated a generally stable pattern, starting at 1.7K and peaking at 2.7K in late September.

Etihad Airways maintained a consistent download rate, ranging from 214 to 332 throughout the quarter. Active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around the 300 mark.
